“ We stayed for two nights and two dinners - a fantastic experience, we were looked after so well. All the staff were so friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food was superb, including a lovely picnic lunch for our day out. The bar is splendid, our room was narrow but what they have done with the space is brilliant - especially the incredibly long and very unusual bathroom! It was the perfect location for a boat trip to Lunga and Staffa to see puffins and a great stopping off point on the way to Fort William and Skye. Thank you to all the lovely staff, we would definitely recommend. ”
“ We stayed here in early June and it was absolutely my favorite part of our Scotland trip. The scenery was breathtaking. The hospitality was so warm and cozy, and the food was exceptional. Worth the long but very scenic drive. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and offer suggestions around the area, which is remote but bursting with wildlife and beautiful scenery. If you do the Staffa puffin tour (which is excellent), the team at Mingary will make you a box lunch. Best cheesecake I have ever had. Every dish we had was exquisite, what a treasure. ”
“ Stayed with my partner and two friends for a quiet elopement and had the most wonderful stay! All the staff were friendly, attentive, and really helpful. Breakfast was delicious, as were the lunchtime sandwiches, and evening tasting menu too. With many dietary requirements, Colin and his kitchen team definitely surpassed the challenge and fed us lots of beautifully cooked meals. The accommodation is fantastic, as are the views from the castle grounds. A perfect stay. We'll look forward to coming back! ”

The staff was outstanding made you feel like you’re a part of the family and the service was incredible. We had dinners at the castle several of those nights And the chef, well it’s really hard to describe, but he was just amazing. The dinners were served as courses. The courses were just undescribable perfect. I’m in my 70s and if I could retire there I would. ”
